Tanuj’s odyssey has been marked with numerous hurdles. Failures to multiple rejections marked his quest into the unexplored. Yet each setback became a stepping stone , forging a relentless spirit in his quest to redefine the meaning of perseverance. Today in addition to being an accomplished artist , Tanuj Samaddar has left his mark in the fields of public policy, geopolitical research & community service.
He has served as a Geopolitics Youth Fellow at the Impact & Policy Research Institute, New Delhi & also as a Policy Research Fellow at ‘Young Leaders for Active Citizenship (YLAC). In the past, he has served as a GLOBAL YOUTH ADVISOR in the ‘GLOBAL YOUTH ADVISORY COUNCIL’ under the aegis of Art of Health, Zimbabwe in collaboration with the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine.
He is also a member of UNESCO’s Inclusive Policy Lab & a committee member of the Society of Gender Professionals. His work as an IR Research Fellow at the International Institute of SDG’s & Public Policy Research remains as a testament to his research acumen. Tanuj is also serving as a member of the working group of Action for Climate Empowerment (ACE) – YOUNGO (UNFCCC) and the Commonwealth Youth Climate Network (CYCN). Tanuj has been a UN Delegate, he attended the Conference of Subsidiary Bodies on behalf of YOUNGO.
He currently serves as a member in the Board of Directors of One Air Media News and a United Nations Millennium Fellow .
